我實實在在地告訴你們，時候將到，現在就是了，死人要聽見神兒子的聲音，聽見的人就要活了。因為父怎樣在自己有生命，就賜給他兒子也照樣在自己有生命，並且因為他是人子，就賜給他行審判的權柄。你們不要把這事看作希奇。時候要到，凡在墳墓裏的，都要聽見他的聲音，就出來：行善的，復活得生；作惡的，復活定罪。

睡在塵埃中的，必有多人復醒。其中有得永生的，有受羞辱永遠被憎惡的。

死人要復活，屍首要興起。睡在塵埃的啊，要醒起歌唱！因你的甘露好像菜蔬上的甘露，地也要交出死人來。

但基督已經從死裏復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。

他已經吞滅死亡直到永遠。主耶和華必擦去各人臉上的眼淚，又除掉普天下他百姓的羞辱，因為這是耶和華說的。

我如今把一件奧祕的事告訴你們：我們不是都要睡覺，乃是都要改變，

他替我們死，叫我們無論醒着，睡着，都與他同活。

又跪下大聲喊着說：「主啊，不要將這罪歸於他們！」說了這話，就睡了。掃羅也喜悅他被害。

我必救贖他們脫離陰間，救贖他們脫離死亡。死亡啊，你的災害在哪裏呢？陰間哪，你的毀滅在哪裏呢？在我眼前絕無後悔之事。

因此，在你們中間有好些軟弱的與患病的，死的也不少。
