and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him.“ Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.

Then they twisted thorns together to make a crown. They placed it on his head. They put a stick in his right hand. Then they fell on their knees in front of him and made fun of him.“ We honor you, king of the Jews!” they said.

把他送交給外國人，去戲弄、鞭打、並釘十字架；第三天他就必得甦活起來。』

他被藐視，被絕交，是個多受痛苦、熟知憂患的人，像被人掩面不看的一樣；他被藐視，我們並不算他為甚麼。

就給他請安說：『猶太人的王萬歲！』

士兵用荊棘編作華冠，給戴在他頭上，又給他披上紫色的衣裳。接續地來到他面前說：『猶太人的王，萬歲！』直給他耳刮子。

惟獨你知道我受的辱罵、慚愧和侮辱；我的敵人都在你面前。辱罵使我的心破碎：我簡直糟透了；我希望有人一同悲傷，卻沒有一個；希望有人來安慰，卻找不着。

猶大隨即上耶穌跟前來，說：『老師你好啊！』便熱切地和他親嘴。

轉臉注視着信仰上的開創者和完成者耶穌：他為了那擺在他前頭的喜樂，就堅忍着十字架，輕看羞辱，如今已在上帝的右邊坐着呢。他堅忍着罪人這樣地頂撞他，你們要跟他比比，免得你們心灰意冷。

永恆主啊，你誘導了我，我被誘導了！你比我強，你勝了我；我終日成為譏笑的對象，人人都戲弄我。

在他的頭以上、他們安了他的罪狀，寫着說：『這是猶太人的王耶穌』

士兵也戲弄他，上前去，把酸酒送上去給他，說：『你如果是猶太人的王，救你自己吧。』

那贖回以色列者、以色列之聖者、永恆主對那藐視自己、被列國厭惡、做轄制人者奴僕的、這麼說：『君王必看見你而起立，公侯也必下拜；都因可信可靠的永恆主、以色列之聖者、揀選了你、的緣故。』

因為是為了你的緣故我才擔受辱罵，而滿面蒙着羞辱的。

但我顛沛時，他們卻歡喜聚集，聚集來攻擊我，直擊打着，我竟不知不覺；直撕裂着，也不靜息；竟以滑稽小丑的褻瀆向我咬牙切齒。
