You deceived me, Lord, and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me. (niv)

Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews. (niv)

The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegarand said,“ If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.” (niv)

This is what the Lord says— the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel— to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation, to the servant of rulers:“ Kings will see you and stand up, princes will see and bow down, because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.” (niv)

For I endure scorn for your sake, and shame covers my face. (niv)

But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; assailants gathered against me without my knowledge. They slandered me without ceasing.Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked; they gnashed their teeth at me. (niv)
