說：『基督啊，對我們說豫言吧！打你的是誰？』

『基督乎、爾為先知、請語吾儕擊爾者誰也。』

and said,“ Prophesy to us, Messiah. Who hit you?”

They said,“ Prophesy to us, Messiah! Who hit you?”

saying,“ Prophesy to us, you Christ! Who is it that struck you?”

jeering,“ Prophesy to us, you Messiah! Who hit you that time?”

and said,“ Prophesy to us, Messiah! Who was it that hit you?”

and said,“ Prophesy to us, You Christ; who is the one who hit You?”

saying,“ Prophesy to us, Christ! Who is the one who struck You?”

saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ: who is he that struck thee?

and said,“ Prophesy to us, Messiah! Who hit You?”

Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

saying,“ Prophesy to us, you Christ! Who hit you?”

Now the men who were holding Jesus under guard began to mock him and beat him.They blindfolded him and asked him repeatedly,“ Prophesy! Who hit you?”They also said many other things against him, reviling him.

Then some began to spit on him, and to blindfold him, and to strike him with their fists, saying,“ Prophesy!” The guards also took him and beat him.

They began to salute him:“ Hail, king of the Jews!”Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff and spit on him. Then they knelt down and paid homage to him.

When they really started celebrating, they said,“ Call for Samson so he can entertain us!” So they summoned Samson from the prison and he entertained them. They made him stand between two pillars.

( Now it was the day of preparation for the Passover, about noon.) Pilate said to the Jewish leaders,“ Look, here is your king!”Then they shouted out,“ Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate asked,“ Shall I crucify your king?” The high priests replied,“ We have no king except Caesar!”

They said to one another,“ Here comes this master of dreams!Come now, let’s kill him, throw him into one of the cisterns, and then say that a wild animal ate him. Then we’ll see how his dreams turn out!”

Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their headsand saying,“ You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are God’s Son, come down from the cross!”In the same way even the chief priests– together with the experts in the law and elders– were mocking him:“ He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the king of Israel! If he comes down now from the cross, we will believe in him!He trusts in God– let God, if he wants to, deliver him now because he said,‘ I am God’s Son’!”The robbers who were crucified with him also spoke abusively to him.

So as you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but chosen and priceless in God’s sight,you yourselves, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood and to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.For it says in scripture,“ Look, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and priceless cornerstone, and whoever believes in him will never be put to shame.”So you who believe see his value, but for those who do not believe, the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,and a stumbling- stone and a rock to trip over. They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.

The soldiers braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and they clothed him in a purple robe.They came up to him again and again and said,“ Hail, king of the Jews!” And they struck him repeatedly in the face.

They stripped him and put a scarlet robe around him,and after braiding a crown of thorns, they put it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand, and kneeling down before him, they mocked him:“ Hail, king of the Jews!”
