Then he said to them,“ My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.”

對他們說：“我的心靈痛苦得快要死了；你們留在這裡，與我一同警醒吧。”

便對他們說：『我的心很是憂困、幾乎要死：你們停留在這裏，同我儆醒着。』

就對他們說：「我的靈魂很憂傷，幾乎要死。你們留在這裡，與我一同警醒。」

曰、我心憂甚、瀕死矣、爾曹留此、偕我儆醒、

耶穌曰、我心甚憂、瀕死矣、爾居此、同我儆醒、

語之曰、我心甚憂、幾至死矣、爾曹居此、同我警醒、

顧謂三徒曰：『予心鬱悒、憂傷欲絕。爾等且留此與予同為儆守。』

Then he said to them,“ My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

Then he said to them,“ My soul is very sad. I feel close to death. Stay here. Keep watch with me.”

He told them,“ My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

He said to them,“ I am deeply grieved to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.”

Then He* said to them,“ My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and keep watch with Me.”

Then He said to them,“ My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me.

Then He said to them,“ My soul is swallowed up in sorrow— to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with Me.”

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

Then he said to them,“ My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.”

Then he said to them,“ My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch with me.”

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

“ Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour.

And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter,“ So, could you not watch with me one hour?Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us— for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—

He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

“ Oh that my vexation were weighed, and all my calamity laid in the balances!For then it would be heavier than the sand of the sea; therefore my words have been rash.For the arrows of the Almighty are in me; my spirit drinks their poison; the terrors of God are arrayed against me.

O Lord, God of my salvation, I cry out day and night before you.Let my prayer come before you; incline your ear to my cry!For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol.I am counted among those who go down to the pit; I am a man who has no strength,like one set loose among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, like those whom you remember no more, for they are cut off from your hand.You have put me in the depths of the pit, in the regions dark and deep.Your wrath lies heavy upon me, and you overwhelm me with all your waves. Selah

O Lord, why do you cast my soul away? Why do you hide your face from me?Afflicted and close to death from my youth up, I suffer your terrors; I am helpless.Your wrath has swept over me; your dreadful assaults destroy me.

The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish.
