Now the Lord of armies will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine.

“ I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh along with my balsam. I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, friends; Drink and drink deeply, lovers.”

And your mouth like the best wine!”“ It goes down smoothly for my beloved, Flowing gently through the lips of those who are asleep.

I will lift up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the Lord.

And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.And He said to them,“ This is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many.

And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying,“ This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.

Is the cup of blessing which we bless not a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is the bread which we break not a sharing in the body of Christ?

But a person must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
