除酵之首日、門徒進問耶穌曰：『免難節宴、子欲備筵何處？』

至除酵日、例宰免難羔。耶穌遣發伯鐸祿若望曰：『往備免難羔、俾吾儕共食。』二徒問曰：『欲吾備之何處？』曰：『爾入城、將見一人、持水瓶迎面至、可從行入宅、告其主曰：「師詢客室何在、將與諸徒共食免難羔、」彼必示爾以一陳設完整之樓廳、即可設席於是處、』二徒往、所遇悉如言、乃備筵焉。

除酵節之首日、亦即宰羔之期、諸徒請於耶穌曰：『免難節宴席、應設何處？』耶穌發二徒曰：『爾入城、見一人持瓶水、迎面至、可從行、入宅、爾告其主曰：「師詢客廳何在、將與諸徒共食免難牲。」彼必示爾以一陳設整潔之樓廳、即於其處、備筵可也。』二徒入城、所遇悉如言、乃備筵席。

門徒遵諭備筵。

曰：『輸也。』伯鐸祿入室、耶穌先問曰：『西門於意云何、世之君王、向誰徵課、己子乎？抑外人乎？』對曰：『向外人耳。』耶穌曰：『然則子當免焉。

耶穌應曰：『茲姑許之、聊以盡義。』如望乃許之。
