万军之耶和华—以色列的神如此说：不要被你们中间的先知和占卜的所诱惑，也不要听信你们所做的梦，

不要让任何人用什么法子欺骗你们，因为那日子以前必有叛教的事，并有那不法的人，那沉沦之子出现。

那样的人是假使徒，行事诡诈，装作基督的使徒。这也不足为奇，因为连撒但也装作光明的天使。所以，他的差役若装作公义的差役也没有什么大不了。他们的结局必然跟他们的行为相符。

耶稣说：“你们要谨慎，免得有人迷惑你们。将有好些人冒我的名来，说‘我是基督’，并且要迷惑许多人。

你们要谨慎，免得有人用他的哲学和虚空的废话，不照着基督，而是照人间的传统和世上粗浅的学说，把你们掳去。

不要被人虚浮的话欺骗了，因这些事，神的愤怒必临到那些悖逆的人。

耶稣说：“你们要谨慎，不要受迷惑，因为将有好些人冒我的名来，说‘我是基督’，又说‘时候近了’，你们不要跟从他们！

这样，我们不再作小孩子，中了人的诡计和欺骗的法术，被一切邪说之风摇动，飘来飘去。

因为假基督和假先知将要起来，显神迹奇事，如果可能，连选民也迷惑了。

不要让人藉着故作谦虚和敬拜天使夺去你们的奖赏。这等人拘泥在所见过的幻象，随着自己的欲望无故地自高自大，

从前在民间有假先知起来；同样，将来在你们中间也会有假教师，偷偷地引进使人灭亡的异端。他们甚至不认买他们的主人，自取迅速灭亡。许多人会随从他们淫荡的行为，以致真理之道因他们的缘故被毁谤。他们因贪婪，要用捏造的言语在你们身上取得利益。他们的惩罚，自古以来并不迟延；他们的灭亡也必迅速来到。
