若不减少那些日子，凡血肉之躯的，就没有一个能得救；可是为了选民，那些日子将减少。

若非減其日、則無得救者、但為選民故、其日將減耳、

斯時不稍減其日、則無得救者、蓋為所選之民、此日可稍減耳、

若不稍減其日、則無一人得救、但為蒙選者、其日必減、

若不減其時日、血氣之倫、將無倖全；惟為蒙選者之故、時日必當見減。

“ If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

“ If the time had not been cut short, no one would live. But because of God’s chosen people, it will be shortened.

And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.

若不是主减少那些日子，凡血肉之躯的，就没有一个能得救；但是为了他所拣选的选民，他将那些日子减少了。

因为假基督和假先知将要起来，显大神迹、大奇事，如果可能，要把选民也迷惑了。

他要差遣天使，用大声的号筒，从四方，从天这边直到天那边，召集他的选民。”

神的选民昼夜呼吁他，他岂会延迟不给他们伸冤吗？

所以，我为了选民事事忍耐，为使他们也能得到那在基督耶稣里的救恩和永远的荣耀。

双胞胎还没有生下来，善恶还没有行出来，为要贯彻神拣选人的旨意，

耶和华如此说：“人在葡萄中寻得新酒时会说：‘不要毁坏它，因为它还有用处’；同样，我必因我仆人的缘故，不将他们全然毁灭。我必从雅各中领出后裔，从犹大中领出那要继承我众山的；我的选民要继承它，我的仆人要在那里居住。

弟兄们，我不愿意你们不知道这奥秘，恐怕你们自以为聪明。这奥秘就是有一部分以色列人是硬心的，等到外邦人的数目添满了，以色列全家都要得救。如经上所记：“必有一位救主从锡安出来，要消除雅各家一切不虔不敬。”“这就是我与他们所立的约，那时我要除去他们的罪。”就福音来说，他们为你们的缘故是仇敌；就拣选来说，他们因列祖的缘故是蒙爱的。因为神的恩赐和选召是不会撤回的。你们从前不顺服神，如今因他们的不顺服，你们倒蒙了怜悯。同样，他们现在也是不顺服，叫他们因着施给你们的怜悯，现在也就蒙怜悯。

因为被召的人多，选上的人少。”

国内剩下的人若还有十分之一，也必被吞灭。然而如同大树与橡树，虽被砍伐，残干却仍存留，圣洁的苗裔是它的残干。”

我要招聚万国与耶路撒冷争战；城必被攻取，房屋被抢夺，妇女被玷污，城中的一半被掳去；但其余的百姓不会从城中被剪除。

这全地的人，三分之二将被剪除而死，三分之一仍必存留。这是耶和华说的。
