From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,to the saints, the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ, at Colossae. Grace and peace to you from God our Father!

Now I mean this, that each of you is saying,“ I am with Paul,” or“ I am with Apollos,” or“ I am with Cephas,” or“ I am with Christ.”Is Christ divided? Paul wasn’t crucified for you, was he? Or were you in fact baptized in the name of Paul?

Immediately he went up to Jesus and said,“ Greetings, Rabbi,” and kissed him.

I do not mean that we rule over your faith, but we are workers with you for your joy, because by faith you stand firm.

And do not lord it over those entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock.

It is enough for the disciple to become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house‘ Beelzebul,’ how much more will they defame the members of his household!

For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake.

from whom every family in heaven and on the earth is named.

But he said to me,“ Do not do this! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets, and with those who obey the words of this book. Worship God!”

So I threw myself down at his feet to worship him, but he said,“ Do not do this! I am only a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony about Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

for you are still influenced by the flesh. For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people?For whenever someone says,“ I am with Paul,” or“ I am with Apollos,” are you not merely human?What is Apollos, really? Or what is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, and each of us in the ministry the Lord gave us.

I, John, your brother and the one who shares with you in the persecution, kingdom, and endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony about Jesus.

For this reason Christ died and returned to life, so that he may be the Lord of both the dead and the living.But you who eat vegetables only– why do you judge your brother or sister? And you who eat everything– why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

You call me‘ Teacher’ and‘ Lord,’ and do so correctly, for that is what I am.If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you too ought to wash one another’s feet.
