and he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.

就對他說：「同伴哪，你沒有婚筵禮服，怎麼進這裏來呢？」那人閉口無言。

就對他說：『朋友，你進到這裡來怎麼沒有穿婚宴的禮服呢？』那個人啞口無言。

謂之曰、友乎、不衣禮服、胡為乎來、其人默然、

客不衣禮服、胡為乎來、賓默然、

語之曰、友乎、爾不衣禮服何至此乎、其人默然、

謂之曰：「友、無禮服安得入此？」其人默然。

He asked,‘ How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.

‘ Friend,’ he asked,‘ how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man couldn’t think of anything to say.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.

“ How can you say,‘ I am not defiled. I have not gone after the Baals’? See your way in the valley. Know what you have done. You are a swift dromedary traversing her ways,

Great fear came on all who heard these things.The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.Peter answered her,“ Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said,“ Yes, for so much.”But Peter asked her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.Great fear came on the whole assembly, and on all who heard these things.

He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness; for no man will prevail by strength.

knowing that such a one is perverted and sins, being self- condemned.

So the poor has hope, and injustice shuts her mouth.

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so the house of Israel is ashamed: they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets,

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart isn’t right before God.Repent therefore of this, your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.For I see that you are in the poison of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.”
