“ You must not oppress your neighbor or rob him. The wages due a hired hand must not remain with you until morning.

You are to pay him his wages each day before the sun sets, because he is poor and depends on them. Otherwise he will cry out to the Lord against you, and you will be held guilty.

So they approached Joseph’s steward and spoke to him at the doorway of the house.

For an overseer, as God’s administrator, must be blameless, not arrogant, not hot-tempered, not addicted to wine, not a bully, not greedy for money,

Then I saw a great white throne and One seated on it. He will repay each one according to his works:eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;but wrath and indignation to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth but are obeying unrighteousness;affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does what is good, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.

and the enemy who sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.Therefore, just as the weeds are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.

“ When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or worthless.

The Lord said:“ Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted food at the proper time?

so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.

Remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they offer, for the worker is worthy of his wages. Don’t be moving from house to house.

A person should consider us in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of God’s mysteries.In this regard, it is expected of managers that each one of them be found faithful.

Joseph found favor in his master’s sight and became his personal attendant. Potiphar also put him in charge of his household and placed all that he owned under his authority.From the time that he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house because of Joseph. The Lord’s blessing was on all that he owned, in his house and in his fields.He left all that he owned under Joseph’s authority; he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome.

“ After a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them.

Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God.
