謂之曰：「爾等亦往我園中、當與爾以應得之值。」

He told them,‘ You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’

He told them,‘ You also go and work in my vineyard. I’ll pay you what is right.’

and to them he said,‘ You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.’

So he hired them, telling them he would pay them whatever was right at the end of the day.

He said to them,‘ You also go into my vineyard, and I’ll give you whatever is right.’ So off they went.

and said to them,‘ You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went.

and to them he said, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

Do you not know that the one to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of that same one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted,and after being freed from sin, you became slaves to righteousness.I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your body’s parts as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in relation to righteousness.Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.

Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

When the people saw this, they all began to complain, saying,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner!”But Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord,“ Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I am giving to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone, I am giving back four times as much.”And Jesus said to him,“ Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham.For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service,even though I was previously a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief;

Masters, grant your slaves justice and fairness, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew sitting in the tax collector’s office; and He* said to him,“ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

When He entered the temple area, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, and said,“ By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?”But Jesus responded and said to them,“ I will also ask you one question, which, if you tell Me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.The baptism of John was from what source: from heaven or from men?” And they began considering the implications among themselves, saying,“ If we say,‘ From heaven,’ He will say to us,‘ Then why did you not believe him?’But if we say,‘ From men,’ we fear the people; for they all regard John as a prophet.”And answering Jesus, they said,“ We do not know.” He also said to them,“ Neither am I telling you by what authority I do these things.“ But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said,‘ Son, go work today in the vineyard.’But he replied,‘ I do not want to.’ Yet afterward he regretted it and went.And the man came to his second son and said the same thing; and he replied,‘ I will, sir’; and yet he did not go.Which of the two did the will of his father?” They* said,“ The first.” Jesus* said to them,“ Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.

Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

This statement is trustworthy; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and beneficial for people.

so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God.For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of indecent behavior, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries.
