Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted,“ Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.All the people were astonished and said,“ Could this be the Son of David?” (niv)

So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked,“ Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”Some claimed that he was. Others said,“ No, he only looks like him.” But he himself insisted,“ I am the man.”“ How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.He replied,“ The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”“ Where is this man?” they asked him.“ I don’t know,” he said. (niv)

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out,“ Have mercy on us, Son of David!”When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?”“ Yes, Lord,” they replied.Then he touched their eyes and said,“ According to your faith let it be done to you”;and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly,“ See that no one knows about this.”But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. (niv)

the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. (niv)

regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David,and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. (niv)

The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. (niv)

In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see. (niv)
