看哪，你必怀孕，生一个儿子。不可用剃刀剃他的头，因为这孩子一出母胎就归给上帝作拿细耳人。他必开始拯救以色列脱离非利士人的手。”

到了第六个月，天使加百列奉上帝的差遣往加利利的一座城去，这城名叫拿撒勒，

约瑟和马利亚照主的律法办完了一切的事，就回加利利，到自己的城拿撒勒去了。

我们看这个人如同瘟疫一般，是鼓动普天下所有的犹太人作乱的人，又是拿撒勒教派里的一个头目。

说：“拿撒勒人耶稣，你为什么干扰我们？你来消灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，你是上帝的圣者。”

彼拉多又写了一个牌子，钉在十字架上，写的是：“犹太人的王，拿撒勒人耶稣。”

我们所传的有谁信呢？耶和华的膀臂向谁显露呢？他在耶和华面前生长如嫩芽，像根出于干地。他无佳形美容使我们注视他，也无美貌使我们仰慕他。

这整件事的发生，是要应验主藉先知所说的话：

因我为你的殿心里焦急，如同火烧，并且辱骂你的人的辱骂都落在我身上。我哭泣，以禁食刻苦我心；这倒成了我的羞辱。

他们回答他：“拿撒勒人耶稣。”耶稣对他们说：“我就是。”出卖他的犹大也同他们站在一起。

“以色列人哪，你们要听我这些话：拿撒勒人耶稣就是上帝以异能、奇事、神迹向你们证明出来的人，这些事是上帝藉着他在你们中间施行，正如你们自己知道的。

我曾将你们从埃及地领上来，在旷野里引导你们四十年，使你们得亚摩利人之地为业；我从你们子孙中兴起先知，又从你们少年中兴起拿细耳人。以色列人哪，不是这样吗？”这是耶和华说的。“你们却把酒给拿细耳人喝，嘱咐先知说：‘不要说预言。’

“拿细耳人的条例是这样的：离俗的日子满了，祭司要领他到会幕门口，

她许愿说：“万军之耶和华啊，你若垂顾你使女的苦情，眷念不忘你的使女，赐你的使女一个子嗣，我必使他终生归给耶和华，不用剃刀剃他的头。”
