我聞哀聲、如婦臨產、我聞哀哭之聲、如孕婦初產、即郇之聲、哭泣伸手、曰、禍哉我也、我被殘殺者所害、

其父雅各謂之曰、爾曹喪我子矣、約瑟已亡、西緬亦亡、今欲取便雅憫去、此皆害及我身、

返見諸弟曰、童子不在、我將焉往、

展於我前、內外皆有文字、上錄哀慘殷憂悲痛之詞、

父識之曰、是誠吾子之衣也、必為惡獸所食、約瑟之身被噬無疑矣、雅各遂裂己衣、腰束麻布、為子悲哀多日、子女群起相勸、父不受慰、曰、我必中心悲哀、迨下示阿勒示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓下同就子、父為之痛哭如此、

我又見一天使、飛於天中、聞其大聲曰、尚有三天使將吹角、因其角聲、居地之萬民、禍哉、禍哉、禍哉、

惟人死則滅、人氣絕則安在、
