耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，任何人为了上帝的国而撇下房屋、妻子、弟兄、父母或儿女，今世必得百倍的奖赏，来世必得永生。”

不但如此，我看万事都毫无价值，因为认识我主基督耶稣最宝贵。我为祂失去了一切，我把失去的一切视为垃圾，好得到基督，

耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，任何人为了我和福音而撇下房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、儿女或田地，今世必在房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、儿女或田地方面获得百倍的回报，来世必得永生。当然他也会受到迫害。

“若有人要跟从我，就要爱我胜过爱他的父母、妻子、儿女、弟兄、姊妹，甚至自己的生命，否则就不能做我的门徒。

因为想救自己生命的，必失去生命；但为了我而失去生命的，必得到生命。

“爱父母过于爱我的人不配做我的门徒；爱儿女过于爱我的人不配做我的门徒；不肯背起他的十字架跟从我的人不配做我的门徒。

如果你们为基督的缘故受辱骂，就有福了！因为上帝荣耀的灵常住在你们身上。

“你们要先寻求上帝的国和祂的义，这一切都会赐给你们。

你们将为我的名而被众人憎恨，但坚忍到底的必定得救。

如果你们属于这个世界，世人一定会爱你们。可是你们不属于这世界，我已经把你们拣选出来，因此世人恨你们。

你们为人子的缘故而遭人憎恨、弃绝、侮辱、毁谤，就有福了！

另一个门徒对耶稣说：“主啊，请让我先回去安葬我的父亲。”耶稣对他说：“跟从我，让死人去埋葬他们的死人吧！”

“人们因为我的缘故侮辱、迫害、肆意毁谤你们，你们就有福了。

那时，王会对右边的人说，‘我父所赐福的人啊，来承受创世以来为你们预备的国度吧。

我会让他知道他必为我的名而受许多的苦。”

正如圣经上说：“上帝为爱祂的人所预备的，是眼睛未曾见过，耳朵未曾听闻，人心也未曾想到的。”

有一个人来请教耶稣：“老师，我该做什么善事才能获得永生呢？”

种子落在沃土里，是指人听了道，并明白了道，就结出果实来，有的多达一百倍，有的六十倍，有的三十倍。”

有些落在沃土里，就结出果实，收成多达三十倍、六十倍、一百倍。

从今以后，我们不再以貌取人了，虽然我们曾这样看待基督，现在却不再这样看待祂了。

这些人要受永远的刑罚，但义人要得到永远的生命。”
