“ I have kept all these,” the young man told Him.“ What do I still lack?”

那青年說：「這一切我都遵守了，還缺少甚麼呢？」

那青年說：「這一切我都遵守了，還缺少甚麼呢？」

那青年對他說：“這一切我都遵守了，還缺少甚麼呢？”

那青年人對耶穌說：『這一切我都遵守了；還缺少甚麼呢？』

那年輕人對耶穌說：「這一切我都遵守了，我還缺少什麼呢？」

少者曰、凡此我嘗守之矣、尚有何缺乎、

少者曰、我自幼皆守之、猶有未盡乎、

少者曰、此誡、我自幼盡守之、尚有何缺乎、

少年曰：『凡此我皆自幼習行；敢問尚虧何事？』

“ All these I have kept,” the young man said.“ What do I still lack?”

“ I have obeyed all those commandments,” the young man said.“ What else do I need to do?”

The young man said to him,“ All these I have kept. What do I still lack?”

“ I’ve obeyed all these commandments,” the young man replied.“ What else must I do?”

“ I have kept all these,” the young man told him.“ What do I still lack?”

The young man* said to Him,“ All these I have kept; what am I still lacking?”

The young man said to Him,“ All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?”

The young man saith unto him, All these things have I observed: what lack I yet?

The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

The young man said to him,“ I have wholeheartedly obeyed all these laws. What do I still lack?”

The young man said to him,“ All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”

regarding zeal, persecuting the church; regarding the righteousness that is in the law, blameless.

Now we know that whatever the law says speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgment.For no one will be justified in His sight by the works of the law, because the knowledge of sin comes through the law.But now, apart from the law, God’s righteousness has been revealed— attested by the Law and the Prophets— that is, God’s righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe, since there is no distinction.For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who don’t need repentance.

“ I have kept all these from my youth,” he said.When Jesus heard this, He told him,“ You still lack one thing: Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

Once I was alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life

The Pharisee took his stand and was praying like this:‘ God, I thank You that I’m not like other people— greedy, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of everything I get.’

The law, then, was our guardian until Christ, so that we could be justified by faith.

But he replied to his father,‘ Look, I have been slaving many years for you, and I have never disobeyed your orders, yet you never gave me a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.

When they persisted in questioning Him, He stood up and said to them,“ The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her.”

He said to Him,“ Teacher, I have kept all these from my youth.”Then, looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him,“ You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
