Jesus* said to him,“ I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy seven times.

耶穌曰：『吾語爾不僅七次而已、必也七十倍之七次乎。

Jesus answered,“ I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.

For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.

All bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice.Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you for your offenses.

Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

Give us this day our daily bread.And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger and dispute.

Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

If Cain is avenged seven times, Then Lamech seventy seven times!”

He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
