“ See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

For He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways.

The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them.

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?

Elisha said,“ Don’t be afraid, for those who are with us outnumber those who are with them.”Then Elisha prayed,“ Lord, please open his eyes and let him see.” So the Lord opened the servant’s eyes. He looked and saw that the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell. Striking Peter on the side, he woke him up and said,“ Quick, get up!” Then the chains fell off his wrists.“ Get dressed,” the angel told him,“ and put on your sandals.” And he did so.“ Wrap your cloak around you,” he told him,“ and follow me.”So he went out and followed, and he did not know that what took place through the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.After they passed the first and second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads into the city, which opened to them by itself. They went outside and passed one street, and immediately the angel left him.Then Peter came to himself and said,“ Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel and rescued me from Herod’s grasp and from all that the Jewish people expected.”

Jacob went on his way, and God’s angels met him.When he saw them, Jacob said,“ This is God’s camp.” So he called that place Mahanaim.

About three in the afternoon he distinctly saw in a vision an angel of God who came in and said to him,“ Cornelius!”

Then Micaiah said,“ Therefore, hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and the whole heavenly host was standing by Him at His right hand and at His left hand.

who despises the one rejected by the Lord but honors those who fear the Lord, who keeps his word whatever the cost,

For who scorns the day of small things? These seven eyes of the Lord, which scan throughout the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”

“ But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me— it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea!

To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some.

Therefore, the person who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who also gives you His Holy Spirit.

He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

The angel answered him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and tell you this good news.

Absalom resided in Jerusalem two years but never saw the king.

But you, why do you criticize your brother? Or you, why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before the tribunal of God.

Accept anyone who is weak in faith, but don’t argue about doubtful issues.One person believes he may eat anything, but one who is weak eats only vegetables.One who eats must not look down on one who does not eat, and one who does not eat must not criticize one who does, because God has accepted him.

One day the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.

Don’t you have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you look down on the church of God and embarrass those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I praise you? I do not praise you for this!

It is a noble thing not to eat meat, or drink wine, or do anything that makes your brother stumble.

Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Now I, Paul, make a personal appeal to you by the gentleness and graciousness of Christ— I who am humble among you in person but bold toward you when absent.

Therefore, no one should look down on him. Send him on his way in peace so he can come to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers.

Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves.

Food will not make us acceptable to God. We are not inferior if we don’t eat, and we are not better if we do eat.But be careful that this right of yours in no way becomes a stumbling block to the weak.For if someone sees you, the one who has this knowledge, dining in an idol’s temple, won’t his weak conscience be encouraged to eat food offered to idols?Then the weak person, the brother for whom Christ died, is ruined by your knowledge.Now when you sin like this against the brothers and wound their weak conscience, you are sinning against Christ.Therefore, if food causes my brother to fall, I will never again eat meat, so that I won’t cause my brother to fall.

Therefore, let us no longer criticize one another. Instead decide never to put a stumbling block or pitfall in your brother’s way.( I know and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself. Still, to someone who considers a thing to be unclean, to that one it is unclean.)For if your brother is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy that one Christ died for by what you eat.

For it is said,“ His letters are weighty and powerful, but his physical presence is weak, and his public speaking is despicable.”

Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me. And whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

For this night an angel of the God I belong to and serve stood by me,

you know that previously I preached the gospel to you because of a physical illness.You did not despise or reject me though my physical condition was a trial for you. On the contrary, you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus Himself.

Brothers, if someone is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual should restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so you also won’t be tempted.

Then I saw the seven angels who stand in the presence of God; seven trumpets were given to them.
