吾實語爾、現立於斯者、必有未死之前、獲睹人子乘權而降焉。』

“ Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

耶穌又對他們說：“我實在告訴你們，站在這裡的，有人在沒有嘗過死味以前，必定看見神的國帶著能力降臨。”

我實在告訴你們，站在這裡的，有人在沒有嘗過死味以前必定要看見神的國。”

猶太人對他說：“現在我們知道你的確是鬼附的。亞伯拉罕死了，先知們也死了，你還說‘人若遵守我的道，必定永遠不嘗死味’，

耶穌回答：“你已經說了﹙“你已經說了”或譯：“這是你說的。”﹚；但我告訴你們：從今以後，你們要看見人子，坐在權能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。”

如果有人在這城迫害你們，就逃到別的城去。我實在告訴你們，你們還沒有走遍以色列的各城，人子就來到了。

不過，我們看見那位暫時成了比天使卑微（“暫時成了比天使卑微”或譯：“比天使稍低微一點”）的耶穌，因為受了死的痛苦，就得了榮耀尊貴作冠冕，好叫他因著神的恩典，為萬人嘗了死味。

那時，他們要看見人子，滿有能力和榮耀，駕著雲降臨；

耶穌坐在橄欖山上，門徒暗中前來問他：“請告訴我們，甚麼時候會有這些事呢？你的降臨和這世代的終結，有甚麼預兆呢？”

聖靈啟示他，在死前必得見主所應許的基督，

電光怎樣從東方閃出來，一直照到西方，人子降臨的時候，也是這樣。屍首在哪裡，鷹也必聚在哪裡。“那些日子的災難剛過去：太陽就變黑了，月亮也不發光，眾星從天墜落，天上的萬象震動。“那時，人子的徵兆要顯在天上，地上的萬族都要哀號，並且看見人子帶著能力，滿有榮耀，駕著天上的雲降臨。當號筒發出響聲，他要差派使者，把他的選民從四方，從天這邊到天那邊都招聚來。

我告訴你們，他要快快地給他們伸冤。然而人子來的時候，在世上找得到這種信心嗎？”

因此，你們要警醒，因為不知道你們的主甚麼時候要來。

並且等候他的兒子從天降臨。這就是神使他從死人中復活，救我們脫離將來的忿怒的那位耶穌。

那時，他們要看見人子，帶著能力，滿有榮耀，駕著雲降臨。一有這些事，你們就當挺身昂首，因為你們的救贖近了。”
