But Jesus immediately said to them:“ Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying,“ Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.”

But Jesus spoke to them at once.“ Don’t be afraid,” he said.“ Take courage. I am here!”

And they brought to Him a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man who was paralyzed,“ Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

And Jesus came to them and touched them and said,“ Get up, and do not be afraid.”

But He* said to them,“ It is I; do not be afraid.”

Who has performed and accomplished it, Summoning the generations from the beginning?‘ I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. I am He.’ ”

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying,“ Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last,and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

Then Jesus* said to them,“ Do not be afraid; go, bring word to My brothers to leave for Galilee, and there they will see Me.”

“ Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be.

But the angel said to him,“ Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John.

And the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

And He said to them,“ Why are you frightened, and why are doubts arising in your hearts?See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you plainly see that I have.”

And so the angel said to them,“ Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;

“ I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass,

Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you people of Israel; I will help you,” declares the Lord,“ and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
