And he said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”

He said to them,“ Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

He said to them,“ Every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house. He brings new treasures out of his storeroom as well as old ones.”

Then he added,“ Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”

“ Therefore,” he said to them,“ every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.”

And Jesus said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.”

Then He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

“ Therefore,” He said to them,“ every student of Scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old.”

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe[ which is] instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man[ that is] an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure[ things] new and old.

Then he said to them,“ Therefore every expert in the law who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”

He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so the hearts of fools.

Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard.At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town,

if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God.Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.

The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil.

Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness.Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly.The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious and adds persuasiveness to his lips.Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled.Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity,

The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.

The mandrakes give forth fragrance, and beside our doors are all choice fruits, new as well as old, which I have laid up for you, O my beloved.

To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my knowledge,for it will be pleasant if you keep them within you, if all of them are ready on your lips.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise.

For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.

just as you learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf

Besides being wise, the Preacher also taught the people knowledge, weighing and studying and arranging many proverbs with great care.The Preacher sought to find words of delight, and uprightly he wrote words of truth.The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

this Ezra went up from Babylonia. He was a scribe skilled in the Law of Moses that the Lord, the God of Israel, had given, and the king granted him all that he asked, for the hand of the Lord his God was on him.

Therefore also the Wisdom of God said,‘ I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute,’

For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the heart of the wicked is of little worth.The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of sense.

When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ,

“ And I, Artaxerxes the king, make a decree to all the treasurers in the province Beyond the River: Whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the Law of the God of heaven, requires of you, let it be done with all diligence,

He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil.

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.
