留心听智慧，专心求聪明；你若呼求明理，扬声求聪明，寻找她，如寻找银子，搜寻她，如搜寻宝藏，你就懂得敬畏耶和华，得以认识神。

在他里面蕴藏着一切智慧和知识。

得智慧胜过得金子，选聪明强如选银子。

因着信，摩西长大了不肯称为法老女儿之子。他宁可和神的百姓一同受苦，也不愿在罪中享受片刻的欢乐。他把为弥赛亚受凌辱看得比埃及的财物更宝贵，因为他想望所要得的赏赐。

只是我先前以为对我是有益的，我现在因基督的缘故而当作是有损的。不但如此，我已把万事当作是有损的，因我以认识我主基督耶稣为至宝。我为他已经丢弃万事，看作粪土，为要赢得基督，并且得以在他里面，不是有自己因律法而得的义，而是有信基督的义，就是基于信，从神而来的义，

这样，你们无论什么人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的门徒。”

因为你的财宝在哪里，你的心也在哪里。”

你当获得真理，不可出卖，智慧、训诲和聪明也是一样。

他听见这些话，就很忧愁，因为他很富有。耶稣见他变得很忧愁，就说：“有钱财的人进神的国是何等的难哪！

凡为我的名撇下房屋，或是兄弟、姊妹、父亲、母亲、儿女、田地的，将得着百倍，并且承受永生。

于是彼得回应，对他说：“看哪，我们已经撇下一切跟从你了，我们会得到什么呢？”

来！你们所有干渴的，都当来到水边；没有银钱的也可以来。你们都来，买了吃；不用银钱，不付代价，就可买酒和奶。

我劝你向我买从火中锻炼出来的金子，使你富足；又买白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞耻不露出来；又买眼药抹你的眼睛，使你能看见。

如经上所记：“神为爱他的人所预备的是眼睛未曾看见，耳朵未曾听见，人心也未曾想到的。”只有神藉着圣灵把这事向我们显明了；因为圣灵参透万事，就是神深奥的事也参透了。

耶稣说：“你若愿意作完全人，去变卖你所拥有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上；然后来跟从我。”

信的人都聚在一处，凡物公用，又卖了田产和家业，照每一个人所需要的分给他们。他们天天同心合意恒切地在圣殿里敬拜，且在家中擘饼，存着欢喜坦诚的心用饭，赞美神，得全体百姓的喜爱。主将得救的人天天加给他们。

耶稣又设个比喻对他们说：“天国好比人撒好种在田里，

他就急忙下来，欢欢喜喜地接待耶稣。众人看见，都私下议论说：“他竟然到罪人家里去住宿。”撒该站着对主说：“主啊，我把所有的一半给穷人；我若勒索了谁，就还他四倍。”

因为你们已经死了，你们的生命与基督一同藏在神里面。基督是你们的生命，他显现的时候，你们也要与他一同在荣耀里显现。

你们同情那些遭监禁的人，也欣然忍受你们的家业被人抢去，因为你们知道自己有更美好更长存的家业。

许多信徒都一心一意，没有一人说他的任何东西是自己的，都是大家公用。使徒以大能见证主耶稣复活；众人也都蒙了大恩。他们当中没有一个缺乏的，因为凡有田产房屋的都卖了，把所卖的钱拿来，放在使徒脚前，照每人所需要的，分给每人。

愚昧人既无知，为何手拿银钱去买智慧呢？

从前所写的圣经都是为教导我们写的，要使我们藉着忍耐和因圣经所生的安慰，得着盼望。

耶稣对他们说：“我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的，绝不饥饿；信我的，永不干渴。

当用各样的智慧，把基督的道丰丰富富的存在心里，用诗篇、赞美诗、灵歌，彼此教导，互相劝戒，以感恩的心歌颂神。

孤僻的人只顾自己的心愿，他鄙视一切健全的知识。
