Jesus replied,“ The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed.

He answered,“ The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.

And He said,“ The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,

He answered and said to them:“ He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.

And he answered and said, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

He replied:“ The One who sows the good seed is the Son of Man;

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

He answered,“ The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.

He answered them,“ He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere— in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

“ The farmer’s workers went to him and said,‘ Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’

The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.

After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us.I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.

I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.”

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,“ Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”“ Well,” they replied,“ some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”Then he asked them,“ But who do you say I am?”Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

But Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

Here is another story Jesus told:“ The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field.

Then he said to the disciples,“ Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God, who sent me.”

“ Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me.

Yet I dare not boast about anything except what Christ has done through me, bringing the Gentiles to God by my message and by the way I worked among them.

So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?

Again he said,“ Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”

Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.
