從未有見上帝者、惟在父懷之獨生子表彰之、○

自天有聲云、此我愛子、我所欣悅者、

夫道成人身、寓我儕中、充以恩寵真理、我儕見其榮、如天父獨生子之榮焉、

彼原有上帝之狀、不以匹上帝自居、乃虛己取僕之狀、成人之形、

遂起而往、遇埃提阿伯人、乃操權之宦者、總司埃提阿伯女王干大基之庫者也、曾至耶路撒冷崇拜而返、乘車讀先知以賽亞書、

言時、景雲覆之、有聲自雲出曰、此我愛子、我所欣悅者、爾其聽之、

天下億兆、咸求見所羅門、以聽其智慧、即上帝賦於其心者、

主自以兆予爾、將有處女懷妊生子、命名以馬內利、

蓋有嬰孩為我而生、有子錫予於我、其肩負荷國政、其名稱為奇士、謀主、全能之神、恆久之父、和平之君、其政治與和平、有加無已、在於大衛之位、治理其國、以公以義建立之、保定之、自今迄於永遠、萬軍耶和華之熱中、將成此焉、○

上帝賜所羅門智慧、明哲、宏博、如海濱之沙、不可測焉、

我依爾所求、以聰明智慧之心錫爾、致爾之前、未有如爾者、爾之後、亦未有如爾者、

以色列眾聞王所判、知其具有上帝之智慧以行鞫、遂咸寅畏焉、

天下列王、聞所羅門之智慧、其民遂來聽之、

誰能鞫此眾民、祈賜爾僕智慧之心、為民折中、而辨是非、

當鞫日尼尼微人、將與斯世同起而罪之、以其因約拿所宣而改悔、況在此有大於約拿者乎、
