Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”

Blessed is anyone who does not give up their faith because of me.”

And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.”

And he added,“ God blesses those who do not fall away because of me.”

and blessed is the one who isn’t offended by me.”

And blessed is any person who does not take offense at Me.”

And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

And blessed is he, whosoever shall find no occasion of stumbling in me.

And if anyone is not offended because of Me, he is blessed.”

And blessed is[ he], whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Blessed is anyone who takes no offense at me.”

Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

He said to them,“ Doubtless you will tell me this parable,‘ Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”He said,“ Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things.They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.

He will be a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel, he will be a stumbling stone and a rock that makes them fall. For the people of Jerusalem, he will be a trap and a snare.Many will stumble over it, fall, be broken, be snared, and be captured.”

Then Jesus said to them,“ All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written,‘ I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’

Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.

At this, many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,

Others said,“ This is the Christ.” But some said,“ What, does the Christ come out of Galilee?Hasn’t the Scripture said that the Christ comes of the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”

It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice, and said to him,“ Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you!”But he said,“ On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”

But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.

Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man to whom Yahweh doesn’t impute iniquity, in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Then the disciples came, and said to him,“ Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”But he answered,“ Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

and Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary, his mother,“ Behold, this child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which is spoken against.

Why? Because they didn’t seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;even as it is written,“ Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed.”

Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?Aren’t all of his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all of these things?”They were offended by him. But Jesus said to them,“ A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.”

and,“ a stumbling stone and a rock of offense.” For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.

Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.“ Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

“ Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Yahweh’s law.

Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said,“ This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?”But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them,“ Does this cause you to stumble?
