and asked Him,“ Are You the One who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

去問耶穌說：『你是那將要來的麼？還是我們須期待着別人呢？』

曰、當來者爾乎、抑他人是望乎、

遣二門徒、問耶穌曰、當來者爾乎、抑他人是望乎、

『將臨者、即汝乎？抑吾人別有所俟耶？』

to ask him,“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

They asked Jesus,“ Are you the one who is supposed to come? Or should we look for someone else?”

and said to him,“ Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?”

“ Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?”

and asked him,“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

and said to Him,“ Are You the Coming One, or are we to look for someone else?”

and said to Him,“ Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another?

And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?”

and said to him,“ Are you he who comes, or should we look for another?”

“ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.This is what you requested from the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly when you said,‘ Let us not continue to hear the voice of the Lord our God or see this great fire any longer, so that we will not die!’Then the Lord said to me,‘ They have spoken well.I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.

“ Yes, Lord,” she told Him,“ I believe You are the Messiah, the Son of God, who comes into the world.”

For yet in a very little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.

“ See, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to His temple, the Messenger of the covenant you desire— see, He is coming,” says the Lord of Hosts.

However, many from the crowd believed in Him and said,“ When the Messiah comes, He won’t perform more signs than this man has done, will He?”

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.

Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; One will come from you to be ruler over Israel for Me. His origin is from antiquity, from eternity.

Then the crowds who went ahead of Him and those who followed kept shouting: Hosanna to the Son of David! He who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One! Hosanna in the highest heaven!

Tell Daughter Zion,“ Look, your King is coming to you, gentle, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.”

After this I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions.I will even pour out My Spirit on the male and female slaves in those days.I will display wonders in the heavens and on the earth: blood, fire, and columns of smoke.The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and awe-inspiring Day of the Lord comes.Then everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be saved, for there will be an escape for those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as the Lord promised, among the survivors the Lord calls.

Jesus told her,“ Believe Me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

The scepter will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until He whose right it is comes and the obedience of the peoples belongs to Him.

I will appoint over them a single shepherd, My servant David, and he will shepherd them. He will tend them himself and will be their shepherd.I, Yahweh, will be their God, and My servant David will be a prince among them. I, Yahweh, have spoken.

Then those who went ahead and those who followed kept shouting: Hosanna! He who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One!

I see him, but not now; I perceive him, but not near. A star will come from Jacob, and a scepter will arise from Israel. He will smash the forehead of Moab and strike down all the Shethites.

Others said,“ This is the Messiah!” But some said,“ Surely the Messiah doesn’t come from Galilee, does He?Doesn’t the Scripture say that the Messiah comes from David’s offspring and from the town of Bethlehem, where David once lived?”

Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.

I will shake all the nations so that the treasures of all the nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,” says the Lord of Hosts.

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this.

This is the declaration of the Lord to my Lord:“ Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.”The Lord will extend Your mighty scepter from Zion. Rule over Your surrounding enemies.Your people will volunteer on Your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of Your youth belongs to You.The Lord has sworn an oath and will not take it back:“ Forever, You are a priest like Melchizedek.”The Lord is at Your right hand; He will crush kings on the day of His anger.

In that day I will restore the fallen booth of David: I will repair its gaps, restore its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old,so that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that are called by My name— this is the Lord’s declaration— He will do this.

saying,“ Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”When King Herod heard this, he was deeply disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.So he assembled all the chief priests and scribes of the people and asked them where the Messiah would be born.“ In Bethlehem of Judea,” they told him,“ because this is what was written by the prophet:And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the leaders of Judah: because out of you will come a leader who will shepherd My people Israel.”

When the people saw the sign He had done, they said,“ This really is the Prophet who was to come into the world!”

Sing for joy, Daughter Zion; shout loudly, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem!The Lord has removed your punishment; He has turned back your enemy. The King of Israel, Yahweh, is among you; you need no longer fear harm.On that day it will be said to Jerusalem:“ Do not fear; Zion, do not let your hands grow weak.Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy.”

He who comes in the name of the Lord is blessed. From the house of the Lord we bless you.

Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come with awe to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days.

Saviors will ascend Mount Zion to rule over the hill country of Esau, but the kingdom will be the Lord’s.

“ I have consecrated My King on Zion, My holy mountain.”I will declare the Lord’s decree: He said to Me,“ You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.You will break them with a rod of iron; You will shatter them like pottery.”So now, kings, be wise; receive instruction, you judges of the earth.Serve the Lord with reverential awe and rejoice with trembling.Pay homage to the Son or He will be angry and you will perish in your rebellion, for His anger may ignite at any moment. All those who take refuge in Him are happy.

Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city— to bring the rebellion to an end, to put a stop to sin, to wipe away iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks and 62 weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times.After those 62 weeks the Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the coming prince will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations are decreed.

“ The days are coming”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ when I will raise up a Righteous Branch of David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is what He will be named: Yahweh Our Righteousness.

I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

He will glorify Me, because He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you.

The King who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest heaven!

they took palm branches and went out to meet Him. They kept shouting:“ Hosanna! He who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One— the King of Israel!”

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.
