父怎樣叫死人起來，使他們活着，子也照樣隨自己的意思使人活着。父不審判甚麼人，乃將審判的事全交與子，叫人都尊敬子如同尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子來的父。我實實在在地告訴你們，那聽我話、又信差我來者的，就有永生；不至於定罪，是已經出死入生了。我實實在在地告訴你們，時候將到，現在就是了，死人要聽見神兒子的聲音，聽見的人就要活了。因為父怎樣在自己有生命，就賜給他兒子也照樣在自己有生命，並且因為他是人子，就賜給他行審判的權柄。你們不要把這事看作希奇。時候要到，凡在墳墓裏的，都要聽見他的聲音，就出來：行善的，復活得生；作惡的，復活定罪。 (cunpt)

叫萬物都服在他的腳下。既叫萬物都服他，就沒有剩下一樣不服他的。只是如今我們還不見萬物都服他。惟獨見那成為比天使小一點的耶穌；因為受死的苦，就得了尊貴榮耀為冠冕，叫他因着神的恩，為人人嘗了死味。原來那為萬物所屬、為萬物所本的，要領許多的兒子進榮耀裏去，使救他們的元帥，因受苦難得以完全，本是合宜的。 (cunpt)

就是照他在基督身上所運行的大能大力，使他從死裏復活，叫他在天上坐在自己的右邊，遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、主治的，和一切有名的；不但是今世的，連來世的也都超過了。又將萬有服在他的腳下，使他為教會作萬有之首。教會是他的身體，是那充滿萬有者所充滿的。 (cunpt)

因為基督必要作王，等神把一切仇敵都放在他的腳下。儘末了所毀滅的仇敵就是死。因為經上說：「神叫萬物都服在他的腳下。」既說萬物都服了他，明顯那叫萬物服他的，不在其內了。 (cunpt)
