Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

What I’m about to tell you is true. No one more important than John the Baptist has ever been born. But the least important person in the kingdom of heaven is more important than he is.

“ I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!

誰能使潔淨之物出於污穢之中呢？無論誰也不能！ (cunpt)

因此，耶和華－以色列的神說：『我曾說，你和你父家必永遠行在我面前；現在我卻說，決不容你們這樣行。因為尊重我的，我必重看他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。 (cunpt)

因為神給我們預備了更美的事，叫他們若不與我們同得，就不能完全。 (cunpt)

論到這救恩，那預先說你們要得恩典的眾先知早已詳細地尋求考察， (cunpt)

但如今藉着我們救主基督耶穌的顯現才表明出來了。他已經把死廢去，藉着福音，將不能壞的生命彰顯出來。 (cunpt)

這道理就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧祕；但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。神願意叫他們知道，這奧祕在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀，就是基督在你們心裏成了有榮耀的盼望。 (cunpt)
