You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.And He began to say to them,“ Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him,

for you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

But He said to them,“ Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.”And He was preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons.

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.

until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,

But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,
