As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him,“ Follow me.”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.Philip found Nathanael and said to him,“ We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”Nathanael said to him,“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him,“ Come and see.”

Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came.So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you.”Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.”Thomas answered him,“ My Lord and my God!”Jesus said to him,“ Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him,“ Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”Philip went and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.

Simon Peter, Thomas( called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.

So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples,“ Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him,“ Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew,and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot,and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.

But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord’s brother.

After this he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax booth. And he said to him,“ Follow me.”

After they finished speaking, James replied,“ Brothers, listen to me.

Judas( not Iscariot) said to him,“ Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?”

Jesus said to him,“ Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?

among whom were Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Joseph and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.Philip answered him,“ Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.”
