连你们的父母、兄弟、亲族、朋友也要把你们交给官府；你们中间也将有被他们害死的。你们要为我的名被众人憎恨。

那时，会有许多人跌倒，也会彼此陷害，彼此憎恨；

兄弟要把兄弟、父亲要把儿女置于死地；儿女要起来与父母为敌，害死他们；而且你们要为我的名被众人憎恨。但坚忍到底的终必得救。”

你们以为我来是要使地上太平吗？不！我告诉你们，是使人纷争。从今以后，一家五个人将要纷争，三个和两个相争，两个和三个相争：父亲和儿子相争，儿子和父亲相争；母亲和女儿相争，女儿和母亲相争；婆婆和媳妇相争，媳妇和婆婆相争。”

若还有人说预言，生他的父母必对他说：‘你不得存活，因为你假借耶和华的名说谎话。’生他的父母在他说预言时，要将他刺死。

“你们不要以为我来是带给地上和平，我来并不是带来和平，而是刀剑。因为我来是要叫‘人与父亲对立，女儿与母亲对立，媳妇与婆婆对立。人的仇敌就是自己家里的人。’

亚希多弗对押沙龙说：“请让我挑选一万二千人，今夜起身追赶大卫。我必趁他疲乏手软的时候追上他，使他惊惶。跟随他的众百姓必都逃跑，我就只杀王一个人。我必使众百姓都归顺你，正如众人归顺你所追杀的人一样，众百姓就都平安无事了。”这话在押沙龙和以色列众长老的眼中都看为好。

大卫又对亚比筛和众臣仆说：“看哪，我亲生的儿子尚且寻索我的性命，何况现在这便雅悯人呢？由他咒骂吧！因为这是耶和华吩咐他的。

我的知心朋友都憎恶我；我平日所爱的人向我翻脸。
