Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to apply to your eyes so that you may see.

Through Him then, let’s continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips praising His name.And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

“ And now, this commandment is for you, the priests.If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says the Lord of armies,“ then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.Behold, I am going to rebuke your descendants, and I will spread dung on your faces, the dung of your feasts; and you will be taken away with it.Then you will know that I have sent this commandment to you, so that My covenant may continue with Levi,” says the Lord of armies.“ My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him as an object of reverence; so he revered Me and was in awe of My name.True instruction was in his mouth and injustice was not found on his lips; he walked with Me in peace and justice, and he turned many back from wrongdoing.For the lips of a priest should maintain knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of armies.But as for you, you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by the instruction; you have ruined the covenant of Levi,” says the Lord of armies.

Lord, I call upon You; hurry to me! Listen to my voice when I call to You!May my prayer be counted as incense before You; The raising of my hands as the evening offering.

you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.

But you will be called the priests of the Lord; You will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, And you will boast in their riches.

And I will put a sign among them and send survivors from them to the nations: Tarshish, Put, Lud, Meshech, Tubal, and Javan, to the distant coastlands that have neither heard of My fame nor seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations.Then they shall bring all your countrymen from all the nations as a grain offering to the Lord, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the Lord,“ just as the sons of Israel bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord.I will also take some of them as priests and Levites,” says the Lord.

All of them are stubbornly rebellious, Going about as a slanderer; They are bronze and iron. They are, all of them, corrupt.The bellows blow fiercely, The lead is consumed by the fire; In vain the refining goes on, But the wicked are not separated.They call them rejected silver, Because the Lord has rejected them.

Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him,“ Take away all guilt And receive us graciously, So that we may present the fruit of our lips.

Take away the impurities from the silver, And there comes out a vessel for the smith;

so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which perishes though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

“ But the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who took responsibility for My sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from Me, shall come near to Me to serve Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer Me the fat and the blood,” declares the Lord God.“ They shall enter My sanctuary; they shall come near to My table to serve Me and assume the responsibility I give them.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.

I will praise the name of God with song, And exalt Him with thanksgiving.And it will please the Lord better than an ox Or bull with horns and hoofs.

“ Son of man, the house of Israel has become waste metal to Me; all of them are bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the smelting furnace; they are the waste metal of silver.Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:‘ Because all of you have become waste metal, therefore, behold, I am going to gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.As they gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the smelting furnace to blow fire on it in order to melt it, so I will gather you in My anger and in My wrath, and I will place you there and melt you.And I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you will be melted in the midst of it.As silver is melted in the furnace, so you will be melted in the midst of it; and you will know that I, the Lord, have poured out My wrath on you.’ ”

He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who sets his way properly I will show the salvation of God.”

They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind!They shall also offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, And tell of His works with joyful singing.

“ ‘ A son honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My respect?’ says the Lord of armies to you, the priests who despise My name! But you say,‘ How have we despised Your name?’You are presenting defiled food upon My altar. But you say,‘ How have we defiled You?’ In that you say,‘ The table of the Lord is to be despised.’And when you present a blind animal for sacrifice, is it not evil? Or when you present a lame or sick animal, is it not evil? So offer it to your governor! Would he be pleased with you, or would he receive you kindly?” says the Lord of armies.“ But now, do indeed plead for God’s favor, so that He will be gracious to us. With such an offering on your part, will He receive any of you kindly?” says the Lord of armies.“ If only there were one among you who would shut the gates, so that you would not kindle fire on My altar for nothing! I am not pleased with you,” says the Lord of armies,“ nor will I accept an offering from your hand.For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name shall be great among the nations, and in every place frankincense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name shall be great among the nations,” says the Lord of armies.

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

I will offer You a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And call upon the name of the Lord.

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though something strange were happening to you;but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.

Offer God a sacrifice of thanksgiving And pay your vows to the Most High;

You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”
