又有這話：播撒吝嗇的人，也收穫吝嗇；播撒祝福的人，也收穫祝福。每個人要照著心裡預先定好的，不要為難，也不要勉強，因為神喜愛那樂意給與的人。神能使一切的恩典豐豐富富地臨到你們，使你們總是在一切事上都能知足，在一切美善的工作上充實滿溢。

所以你們應當先尋求神的國和神的義，這一切都將加給你們了。

你當以你的財物，以一切初熟的收成，榮耀耶和華；這樣，你的倉庫必充滿，豐豐足足，你的榨酒池也必溢出新酒。

你要依靠耶和華，要行善事，在地上安居，並要以信實為糧；

然後對他們講了一個比喻，說：「有一個富有的人，田地豐收了。他就心裡盤算：『我沒有地方儲存我的產物了，做什麼呢？』

挪亞六百歲那年的二月十七日，就在那一天，巨大深淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的窗戶也敞開了——

如果烏雲滿了雨，就把雨傾倒在地上；樹向南倒或向北倒，倒在哪裡，就躺在哪裡。

耶穌說：「你們把網撒在船的右邊，就會捕到。」他們就把網撒下，竟拉不上來，因為魚很多。耶穌所愛的那門徒對彼得說：「那是主！」當時，西門彼得赤著身子，一聽說是主，就把外衣繫上，跳進湖裡。其他在船上的門徒，拖著滿網的魚過來了。他們離岸不遠，約有九十公尺。他們一上岸，就看見有一堆炭火，上面放著魚，還有餅。耶穌說：「把你們剛捕到的魚，拿幾條過來。」西門彼得就上去，把網拖到岸上，滿網大魚，共一百五十三條。雖然有這麼多魚，網卻沒有撐破。

他們這樣做了，網住了一大群魚，漁網幾乎要撐破。他們就招呼另一條船上的夥伴來幫忙；他們過來，裝滿了兩條船，甚至兩條船都幾乎要沉下去了。
