耶和华—以色列的神说：“我恨恶休妻的事和衣服外面披上暴力的人。所以当谨守你们的心，不可行诡诈。这是万军之耶和华说的。”

耶和華以色列的神說：「我實在恨惡休妻的事，也恨惡那用殘暴遮蓋自己衣袍的人！」萬軍之耶和華說：「你們當謹守自己的心靈，不可背信。」

“ The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord, the God of Israel,“ does violence to the one he should protect,” says the Lord Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful.

“ Suppose a man hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord God of Israel.“ Then he is harming the one he should protect,” says the Lord who rules over all. So be careful. And don’t be unfaithful.

“ For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”

“ For I hate divorce!” says the Lord, the God of Israel.“ To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“ So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.”

“ If he hates and divorces his wife,” says the LORD God of Israel,“ he covers his garment with injustice,” says the LORD of Armies. Therefore, watch yourselves carefully, and do not act treacherously.

“ For I hate divorce,” says the Lord, the God of Israel,“ and him who covers his garment with violence,” says the Lord of armies.“ So be careful about your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

“ For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.”

For I hate putting away, saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, and him that covereth his garment with violence, saith Jehovah of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for[ one] covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

“ I hate divorce,” says the LORD God of Israel,“ and the one who is guilty of violence,” says the LORD who rules over all.“ Pay attention to your conscience, and do not be unfaithful.”

One who hates and divorces”, says Yahweh, the God of Israel,“ covers his garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies.“ Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.

凡休妻另娶的，就是犯奸淫；娶被丈夫休了的妇人的，也是犯奸淫。”

“又有话说：‘无论谁休妻，都要给她休书。’但是我告诉你们：凡休妻的，除非是因不贞的缘故，否则就是使她犯奸淫了；人若娶被休的妇人，也是犯奸淫了。”

有些法利赛人来试探耶稣说：“无论什么缘故，人休妻都合法吗？”耶稣回答：“那起初造人的，是造男造女，并且说：‘因此，人要离开父母，与妻子结合，二人成为一体。’这经文你们没有念过吗？

有法利赛人来问他说：“男人休妻合不合法？”意思是要试探他。耶稣回答他们说：“摩西吩咐你们的是什么？”他们说：“摩西准许写了休书就可以休妻。”耶稣对他们说：“摩西因为你们的心硬，所以写这诫命给你们。但从起初创造的时候，神造人是造男造女。因此，人要离开他的父母，与妻子结合，二人成为一体。既然如此，夫妻不再是两个人，而是一体的了。所以，神配合的，人不可分开。”他们到了屋里，门徒又问他这事。耶稣对他们说：“凡休妻另娶的，就是犯奸淫，辜负他的妻子；妻子若离弃丈夫另嫁，也是犯奸淫了。”

耶和华如此说：“我休了你们的母亲，她的休书在哪里呢？我将你们卖给了我哪一个债主呢？看哪，你们被卖是因你们的罪孽；你们的母亲被休，是因你们的过犯。

遮掩自己过犯的，必不顺利；承认且离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

所结的网不能当衣服，无法掩盖自己所作所为。他们的行为全是邪恶，手所做的尽都残暴。

“人若娶妻，作了她的丈夫，发现她有不合宜的事不喜欢她，而写休书交在她手中，打发她离开夫家，妇人若离开夫家以后，去嫁别人，后夫若恨恶她，写休书交在她手中，打发她离开夫家，又或者娶她为妻的后夫死了，那休她的前夫就不可在妇人玷污之后再娶她为妻，因为这是耶和华所憎恶的。不可使耶和华—你神所赐为业之地蒙受玷污。

地上的虔诚人灭尽了，人世间已无正直的人；他们都埋伏，为要流人的血，用罗网猎取自己的弟兄。他们双手善于作恶，君王和审判官都索取贿赂；位高的人吐出心中的欲望，彼此勾结。

床榻短，人不能伸展；被子窄，人无从裹身。
