親愛之兄弟其知之、各宜疾於聽、徐於言、緩於怒、蓋人之怒、非成上帝之義也、

今祈主鑒彼眾之威嚇、允爾僕毅然宣爾道、隨時舒爾手施醫、致奇兆異蹟、由爾聖僕耶穌之名而行、

我見其一首、若受傷瀕死、而得醫愈、全地遂奇而從之、

然耶戶不專心注意、遵行以色列上帝耶和華之法律、不離棄耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、○

夫基遍人、原為亞摩利族之遺民、不屬以色列族、以色列族與之盟約、掃羅為以色列及猶大人熱中、謀殺戮之、

曰、與我偕往、視我為耶和華之熱中、乃使之乘車、
