and they recognized him as being the very one who used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg for charitable gifts, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the portico named Solomon’s, completely astonished.But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people,“ Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why are you staring at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you handed over and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.

For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken;

For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another, saying,“ What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

And He said to them,“ Where is your faith?” But they were fearful and amazed, saying to one another,“ Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?”

Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped; and they were utterly astonished,

And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them,“ The Son of Man is going to be handed over to men;

The Lord of armies says this:‘ If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?’ declares the Lord of armies.

And they were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God. They were also filled with fear, saying,“ We have seen remarkable things today!”

I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
