白天太阳必不再作你的光，晚上月亮也必不再发光照耀你，耶和华却要作你永远的光，你的神要作你的荣耀。

父啊，我在哪里，愿你赐给我的人也和我同在哪里，让他们看见你赐给我的荣耀，因为在创立世界以前，你已经爱我了。

耶稣回到门徒那里，看见他们都睡着了，就对彼得说：“你们连一个小时也不能同我警醒吗？应当警醒、祷告，免得陷入试探；你们心灵虽然愿意，肉体却是软弱的。”他又再次走开，祷告说：“我的父啊！如果这杯不能离开我，一定要我喝，就愿你的旨意成全。”他再回来的时候，看见门徒睡着了，因为他们十分疲倦。

我却仍听见他说话的声音；我一听见他说话的声音，就沉睡了，脸伏在地。

摩西说：“求你给我看看你的荣耀。”耶和华说：“我要使我的一切美善都在你面前经过，并且要把我的名字耶和华在你面前宣告出来；我要恩待谁，就恩待谁；我要怜悯谁，就怜悯谁。”他又说：“你不能看我的脸，因为没有人看见了我还能活着。”耶和华说：“看哪，我这里有个地方，你要站在磐石上。我的荣耀经过的时候，我要把你放在磐石隙中，我要用我的手掌遮盖你，直到我过去了。然后，我要收回我的手掌，你就会看见我的背后，却不能看见我的脸。”

也要见他的面。他的名字必写在他们的额上。不再有黑夜了，他们也不需要灯光或日光了，因为主神要光照他们。他们要作王，直到永永远远。

我们从前把我们主耶稣基督的大能和降临的事告诉你们，并不是随从巧妙捏造传奇的故事，我们却是亲眼看见过他威荣的人。

锡安哪！起来，发光，因为你的光已经来到，耶和华的荣耀已升起来照耀你。看哪！黑暗遮盖大地，幽暗遮蔽万民；但耶和华要升起来照耀你，他的荣耀要彰显在你身上。万国要在你的光中行走，列王必在你如旭日初升的光辉中行走。
