爾乃世之鹽、鹽失其味、何以復之、後無所用、惟棄於外、為人所踐耳、

又設喻曰、天國猶人播美種於田、寢時敵至、播稗麥中而去、苗秀而實、稗亦見、

乃多端設喻以訓之、曰聽之哉、有播種者出而播種、播時、有落路旁者、鳥至、盡食之、

乃多端設喻語之、曰、有播種者、出而播種、播時、有落道旁者、鳥至盡食之、

所喻如是、種者、上帝道也、路旁者、猶人聽道而魔至、由其心奪之、免其信而得救、

凡違爾典章者、爾蔑棄之、因其詭詐徒然兮、

夫播種之喻、爾其聽之、凡聞天國之道而不悟、惡者至、奪其心之所播、此播於道旁者也、
