Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name.He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes. (niv)

They only heard the report:“ The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”And they praised God because of me. (niv)

On that day tell your son,‘ I do this because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that this law of the Lord is to be on your lips. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners— of whom I am the worst.But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us.We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children,so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; (niv)

What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me? (niv)

“ Lord,” Ananias answered,“ I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem.And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”But the Lord said to Ananias,“ Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” (niv)

Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever.He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate. (niv)

When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice,“ What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!” (niv)

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. (niv)
