耶稣说：“妇人，你的信心是大的！照你所要的，给你成全了吧。”从那时候，她女儿就好了。

耶稣听见就希奇，对跟从的人说：“我实在告诉你们，这么大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也没有遇见过。

这样说来，犹太人有什么长处？割礼有什么益处呢？凡事大有好处：第一是神的圣言交托他们。即便有不信的，这有何妨呢？难道他们的不信就废掉神的信吗？

他们是以色列人；那儿子的名分、荣耀、诸约、律法、礼仪、应许都是他们的。列祖就是他们的祖宗；按肉体说，基督也是从他们出来的。他是在万有之上，永远可称颂的神。阿们！

他将他的道指示雅各，将他的律例典章指示以色列。别国他都没有这样待过；至于他的典章，他们向来没有知道。你们要赞美耶和华！

鬼被赶出去，哑巴就说出话来。众人都希奇，说：“在以色列中，从来没有见过这样的事。”
