心魂默默念天主。救恩獨自眞神出。

雨降潦行、颶風倏起、相與衝而擊之、而其屋屹然不動者、其基固也。聞而不行、則猶無知者建屋於沙礫之上、

惟天主我等救主能保佑爾曹、不致失足、庇爾於其光榮之下、使爾毫無瑕疵、神樂洋溢。

此聖宅、以宗徒先知為基、而有耶穌基督親充隅石；

自宜欣然就之。渠乃具有生命之磐石、世人之所擯棄、而天主之所器重也。爾等亦當勉成具有生命之小石、俾充建造聖殿之材料、而作神聖之司鐸；仰賴耶穌基督、奉獻精神上之祭祀以望天主之悅納、蓋經有之：『我選一隅石、置之西溫上；斯石我所珍、賴之無觖望。』

孰能間吾人於基督之愛乎？將貧賤憂戚、飢寒困窮乎？抑災患艱危、白刃窘迫乎？詩云：『正惟為主故、吾人日見殺；一如屠家羊默默待宰割。』雖然、賴愛我者之大力、吾人已戰勝一切災害、且綽綽乎有餘裕矣。蓋吾深信無論死也、生也、天神也、權威也、現在之事也、未來之事也、宇宙間之一切勢力也、

其時蒼穹亦杳然而逝、如一幅圖書倏焉被卷；山嶺海島、莫不移位；世間之王侯、公卿、豪富、權貴、凡屬有生、無分主奴皆相率自匿於深洞巖穴之中、而乞靈於山石曰：「其速覆吾身、掩吾人於居寶座者之顏、與羔羊之怒；蓋其譴怒之日已臨、其誰能當之。」

雖然、主日之臨、必突如其來、有若不速之客焉。當時諸天訇然而逝、物質之元素、溶解於烈火之中。大地及所載之萬彙、悉皆焚化。既知天地萬物終歸消滅、則爾等應如何孳孳為善、翼翼事主、以速主日之臨、蓋正惟諸天焚化、物質消溶、於是吾人依據天主恩諾所盼望之新天新地、正義之所寓者、乃得而實現也。夫我良朋、既懷此殷望、則宜發憤為善、修身砥行、務使無瑕無玷俾可安心見主。

總之、望吾小子、常寓基督懷中庶幾於彼重臨之日、吾人得具自信、而不致無顏以對。

洪水氾濫。浪濤澎湃。赫赫在上。坐鎮四海。狂瀾以恬。聖道常在。

雖然、天主堅實之基礎、固屹然不可搖動；其基礎之上、鐫有銘曰：凡屬主者、皆主所識。誦主名者、宜遠罪孽。

予以此語爾、俾爾因予而得平安。爾在人世、固有患難、惟勿因是而餒、予已克勝人世矣。』

嗟我良朋。盍興乎來。向主獻歌。歌聲和諧。惟我恩主。為我磐石。

故望兄弟益加奮勉、孳孳為善、務使爾之聖召恩選、根深秪固、確乎不拔。爾能遵此而行、則永無失足之虞；

依主之人。安如西溫。確乎不拔。終古長存。穆穆瑟琳。群山圍之。雍雍聖民。慈主衛之。昉自今茲。乃至世世。

傳語虔信。及時祈主。洪水不犯。主實砥柱。

『嗚呼死亡！爾之勝利安在？爾之毒螫又安在哉？』死亡之毒螫、罪孽也；而罪孽之威權、律法也。感荷天主洪恩、吾人已藉吾主耶穌基督、而獲最後勝利矣。故望我親愛之兄弟確乎不拔、屹然不動、恆在主之工作中發榮滋長、蔚為大觀；固知爾在主中所有艱辛困苦、不為徒勞耳。

勸眾堅心、信道勿移、曰：『吾人欲入天主之國、必須經歷多難。』

乃見一純白大寶座、至尊聖主坐焉；天地見之、逡巡而遁、無所自容。吾又見已亡者、無大無小、肅立座前、案卷悉展、另有一卷亦展、即生命冊也。亡者皆各按其卷中所載之行實而處分焉。是時淵海將所溺者紛紛交出、陰府及窅冥亦將所有死者交出；各按其行實而受判焉。陰府及窅冥、均被擲於火池之中。火池者、即二次之死亡是已；凡不見錄於生命冊者、皆投入火池。
