One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God.

So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret,

耶稣在加利利海边行走，看见弟兄二人，就是那称呼彼得的西门和他兄弟安得烈，在海里撒网；他们本是打鱼的。耶稣对他们说：“来跟从我，我要叫你们得人如得鱼一样。”他们就立刻舍了网，跟从了他。从那里往前走，又看见弟兄二人，就是西庇太的儿子雅各和他兄弟约翰，同他们的父亲西庇太在船上补网，耶稣就招呼他们，他们立刻舍了船，别了父亲，跟从了耶稣。

耶稣顺着加利利的海边走，看见西门和西门的兄弟安得烈在海里撒网；他们本是打鱼的。耶稣对他们说：“来跟从我，我要叫你们得人如得鱼一样。”他们就立刻舍了网，跟从了他。耶稣稍往前走，又见西庇太的儿子雅各和雅各的兄弟约翰在船上补网。耶稣随即招呼他们，他们就把父亲西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟从耶稣去了。

他们过了海，来到革尼撒勒地方。

与约旦河东边的亚拉巴，直到基尼烈海，又到亚拉巴的海，就是盐海，通伯耶西末的路，以及南方，直到毗斯迦的山根。

这界要从示番下到亚延东边的利比拉，又要达到基尼烈湖的东边。

耶稣就和他同去。有许多人跟随拥挤他。

又将亚拉巴和靠近约旦河之地，从基尼烈直到亚拉巴海，就是盐海，并毗斯迦山根东边之地，都给了他们。

从施洗约翰的时候到如今，天国是努力进入的，努力的人就得着了。

这时，有几万人聚集，甚至彼此践踏。耶稣开讲，先对门徒说：“你们要防备法利赛人的酵，就是假冒为善。

既渡过去，来到革尼撒勒地方，就靠了岸，

他因为人多，就吩咐门徒叫一只小船伺候着，免得众人拥挤他。

耶稣说：“摸我的是谁？”众人都不承认。彼得和同行的人都说：“夫子，众人拥拥挤挤紧靠着你。”
