But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

they became aware of it, and fled unto the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the region round about:and there they preached the gospel.

I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.And the unclean spirit, tearing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What is this? a new teaching! with authority he commandeth even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.And the report of him went out straightway everywhere into all the region of Galilee round about.

But the Jews urged on the devout women of honorable estate, and the chief men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and cast them out of their borders.But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.And it came to pass in Iconium that they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed.But the Jews that were disobedient stirred up the souls of the Gentiles, and made them evil affected against the brethren.

Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he beheld the city full of idols.So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with them that met him.

Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:and Paul, as his custom was, went in unto them, and for three sabbath days reasoned with them from the scriptures,opening and alleging that it behooved the Christ to suffer, and to rise again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom, said he, I proclaim unto you, is the Christ.
