“人子啊，葡萄树比一切其他的树，就是树林里众树木的树枝，有什么长处呢？可以从其中取木料来做工吗？人可以拿来做钉子，挂东西在上面吗？看哪，它已经抛在火中当柴烧，火既烧了两头，中间也烧焦了，它还有什么用处呢？

任何人干犯摩西的律法，凭两个或三个证人，尚且必须处死，不得宽赦，

因为日子将到，人要说：‘不生育的、未曾怀孕的，和未曾哺乳孩子的有福了！’那时，人要向大山说：‘倒在我们身上！’向小山说：‘遮盖我们！’他们若在树木青绿的时候做这些事，那么在枯干的时候将会怎么样呢？”
