有一座山，名叫橄欖山，離耶路撒冷不遠，有安息日可行走的路程。那時，門徒從那裏回耶路撒冷去，

於是他離開他們，出城到伯大尼去，在那裏過夜。

這一切是以色列的十二個支派。這是他們的父親對他們所說的話，他按照各人的福分為他們祝福。

那得祭司職分的利未子孫，奉命照例向百姓取十分之一，這百姓是自己的弟兄，雖是從亞伯拉罕親身生的，還是照例取十分之一。惟獨麥基洗德那不與他們同族譜的，從亞伯拉罕收取了十分之一，並且給蒙應許的亞伯拉罕祝福。向來位分大的給位分小的祝福，這是無可爭議的。

耶穌和門徒快到耶路撒冷，來到伯法其和伯大尼，在橄欖山那裏。耶穌打發兩個門徒，

又有撒冷王麥基洗德帶着餅和酒出來；他是至高神的祭司。他為亞伯蘭祝福，說：「願至高的神、天地的主賜福給亞伯蘭！至高的神把敵人交在你手裏，他是應當稱頌的！」亞伯蘭就把所有的拿出十分之一給他。

約瑟對他父親說：「這是神在這裏賜給我的兒子。」以色列說：「領他們到我跟前，我要為他們祝福。」

「你要吩咐亞倫和他兒子說：你們要這樣為以色列人祝福，對他們說：『願耶和華賜福給你，保護你。願耶和華使他的臉光照你，賜恩給你。願耶和華向你仰臉，賜你平安。』「他們要如此奉我的名為以色列人祝福；我也要賜福給他們。」

於是他抱着小孩子，給他們按手，為他們祝福。

照我所愛的做成美味，拿來給我吃，好讓我在未死之前為你祝福。」
