還有幾個曾得治好、脫離邪靈和疾病的婦女：其中有稱為抹大拉的馬利亞、曾有七個鬼從她身上出來的、和希律的理事苦撒的妻子約亞拿、跟蘇撒拿和許多別的婦女、就是常用自己的資財供應耶穌和門徒的。

其中有抹大拉的馬利亞、雅各和約瑟的母親馬利亞，和西庇太倆兒子的母親。

還有婦女們從遠處觀看着；其中有抹大拉的馬利亞、小雅各和約瑟的母親馬利亞、和撒羅米；她們是耶穌在加利利時候跟着他服事他的人；另外還有許多跟他同上耶路撒冷的婦女。

使徒聚集到耶穌跟前，將他們所作所教訓的一切事報告他。

馬利亞卻靠着墳墓，站在外邊哭。哭的時候、屈身向墳墓裏窺察，便見兩個天使穿着白衣，坐在耶穌身體安放的地方，一個在頭那邊，一個在腳那邊。天使對她說：『婦人，你為甚麼哭？』她對天使說：『有人把我的主取了去，我不知道他們把他安放在哪裏。』說了這些話，就向後轉身，見耶穌站着，卻不知道是耶穌。耶穌對她說：『婦人，你為甚麼哭？你找誰？』那婦人以為他是看園的，就對他說：『先生，若是你把他背了去，請告訴我、你把他安放在哪裏，我便取去。』耶穌對她說：『馬利亞！』那婦人就轉身，用希伯來土話對耶穌說：『拉波尼！』（就是說：『我老師！』）耶穌對她說：『別纏着我了！我還沒有上去見父。你要去找我弟兄，對他們說：「我上去見我的父，也就是你們的父；見我的上帝，也就是你們的上帝」』。抹大拉的馬利亞就去向門徒傳信說：『我已經看見了主了』，主怎樣對她說了以上這些話。

安息週的第一日、清早、耶穌復起了，先向抹大拉的馬利亞顯現，就是耶穌曾經從她身上趕出七個鬼的。那女人去報告向來跟耶穌在一起的人；他們正在哀慟哭泣；那些人聽見耶穌活着、並且給她看了，卻取了不信的態度。
