“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up! Pray that you won’t fall into sin when you are tempted.”

and he said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

“ Why are you sleeping?” he asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation.”

and He said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you do not come into temptation.”

Then He said to them,“ Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.”

and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.

“ Why are you sleeping?” He asked them.“ Get up and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation.”

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

So he said to them,“ Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not fall into temptation!”

and said to them,“ Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

When he reached the place, he told them,“ Pray that you may not fall into temptation.”

“ Be on your guard, so that your minds are not dulled from carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, or that day will come on you unexpectedlylike a trap. For it will come on all who live on the face of the whole earth.But be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to stand before the Son of Man.”

The captain approached him and said,“ What are you doing sound asleep? Get up! Call to your god. Maybe this god will consider us, and we won’t perish.”

Don’t give sleep to your eyes or slumber to your eyelids.Escape like a gazelle from a hunter, like a bird from a hunter’s trap.Go to the ant, you slacker! Observe its ways and become wise.Without leader, administrator, or ruler,it prepares its provisions in summer; it gathers its food during harvest.How long will you stay in bed, you slacker? When will you get up from your sleep?A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms to rest,and your poverty will come like a robber, your need, like a bandit.
