“ Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

He said,“ Father, if you are willing, take this cup of suffering away from me. But do what you want, not what I want.”

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying,“ O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

“ Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying,“ I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying,“ O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

But Jesus answered and said,“ You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him,“ We are able.”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”

And He said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.”

Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come— in the volume of the book it is written of Me— to do Your will, O God.’”Previously saying,“ Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them”( which are offered according to the law),then He said,“ Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Thus says your Lord, The Lord and your God, Who pleads the cause of His people:“ See, I have taken out of your hand The cup of trembling, The dregs of the cup of My fury; You shall no longer drink it.

Jesus said to them,“ My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said,“ Take this and divide it among yourselves;for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying,“ This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying,“ This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

Awake, awake! Stand up, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk at the hand of the Lord The cup of His fury; You have drunk the dregs of the cup of trembling, And drained it out.

For thus says the Lord God of Israel to me:“ Take this wine cup of fury from My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.
